Yeliz. Founder @thehytch

Yeliz started The Hytch to provide creative wedding solutions for fun, funky and truly unique couples. Professionally, Yeliz is a recipient of the Reno Gazette Journal’s Twenty Under 40 Award, which recognizes young and accomplished leaders. She’s also very involved in the local business community and has given talks on leadership at the local Woman of the Year conference.

Personally, she spends her time traveling, exploring photography, designing photo-shoots and mentoring young women entrepreneurs.

Megan. Officiant @thehytch

This is all about your day, but here’s a little about me! As a Northern Nevada native, I enjoy most of all the gorgeous scenery I get to work and live in. On my free time you’ll find me taking photos (of everything!), hiking, cooking and caring for my plethora of houseplants. I started working as an event coordinator with The Hytch in 2021 and fell in love with the work immediately. It was always an absolute honor to be present during the most important day of your life, and with that I knew officiating was the next step for me! My goal is to help find the language that represents and honors your love. Your love story is one of a kind and I’m here to develop the words that represent that. We will work together to create a ceremony that speaks true to your unique love, binds you to each other and delivers you and your family joy and love on your special day! I would be absolutely honored to be a part of your love story. ♥️

Darren. Officiant @thehytch

Darren is a Lake Tahoe native with strong ties to the Sierra Nevada Region. He's always most comfortable meeting new people or in the company of others. Forging new friendships and relationships is a strong foundation of who he is. Darren has served as a Chaplain for 8 years where officiating weddings and also offering Crisis/Grief and Marriage Counseling. His passion for the outdoors fits right into the Reno/Tahoe region. Darren meets a good balance as he is professionally trained in numerous Traditional Religious ceremonies and also willing to embrace new and unique views to make a service truly special.

Every ceremony matters deeply to Derren and he takes pride in what he will bring to your experience.

Frank. Officiant @thehytch

Hello there, I’m Frank Dulay and I am a proud team member of the Hytch Team. I believe love is God’s greatest gift and that is why I want to officiate your wedding. I want to share and celebrate this great gift with you and your other half by making it memorable and unique to you two as a couple. I like to meet with each couple to find out how to make your ceremony, YOURS. Adding heartfelt memories and details. If you found yourself to the Hytch Team you aren’t looking for traditional or ordinary, you are looking for detail, beauty, adventure and extraordinary. I believe love has no rules on time, culture, age, gender. I just believe when you find love, you embrace it, cherish it.

A little about me, I am a 35 year old Christian that has been officiating weddings for about 7 years. I started with friends and family but I believe God has blessed me with the skills to serve others and that is how I found my Hytch family. Your love is one of a kind and special, your ceremony should be too.

Arion. Officiant @thehytch

Hello everyone my name is Arion. I was born and raised in the beautiful state of Nevada. I am currently embarking on a journey into the nursing world and I am very much looking forward to the future. I am so excited to be apart of the Hytch team. I have been an officiant since 2014 and I absolutely love joining beautiful souls together on their special day. There is something to be said about two people who were once strangers and are now wanting to embark one the most amazing expression of love one can find. I have a soft spot for what I do and making your wedding the most memorable and incredible experience is not just my Job but an honor as well.

Kaycee. Officiant @thehytch

Kaycee is what you can call a “local girl”. A 5th generation Nevadan, she enjoys all the Sierras has to offer. She works remotely as a high school math teacher and epitomizes the professional van-life dweller out of her mini-van. Kaycee is an avid outdoors person who loves trail running, paddle boarding, climbing, backpacking, and snowshoeing. She also loves meeting new people and sharing in new experiences and new foods!

Kaycee is fueled by a passion of infectious energy that shows in the experience she provides.

Ashleigh. Photographer @thehytch

Ashleigh is a born and raised Nevadan with a passion for capturing love and authenticity. She stumbled into photography when taking an extra elective in college to capture her kids as they grew. She realized immediately that real moments are the ones that matter the most and has made that her business motto from the start.

When she isn’t behind the camera, you’ll find her spending time with her husband and three children, renovating their house or dreaming up some sort of grand adventure.

Crystal. Event Coordinator @thehytch

Lifelong ambassador of Northern Nevada, Crystal brings her sweetheart demeanor, artistic nature, and ranch-raised fortitude to every event she’s involved with here at The Hytch. After working years in the world of construction supply, she is happy to now be able to pour her art and soul into fostering beautiful moments for brides, grooms, and everyone in between. When her day is done, she delights in bringing stories of the love and happiness she witnessed during her workday home to her husband and their big blended family in their cozy home.
When you are working on your event with Crystal, the love and excitement she carries will be unavoidably infectious!

Sarah. Photographer @thehytch

A true lover of spontaneous adventures and soaking up all the Arizona sunshine. Sarah spends a majority of her spare time running through various canyons, camping under the stars in the middle of nowhere with her fiancé Jarrod and our pack of hounds. Sarah is a Northern Nevada native but decided to exchange one desert for the other.

Some of her favorite things to do include waking up before the sun, climbing up a mountain and watching the world slowly wake up and seeing the golden colors paint the sky just for a few moments before it disappears.

Brooke. Photographer @thehytch

Brooke is a born and raised Wisconsinite living in the Arizona desert. She found her love for photography by accident in college while filling an art elective and has been at it ever since. Connection and openness are her sweet spots when it comes to crafting photos, so she holds these to be the most important aspects of creating real moments with people. A love for nature combined with her two left feet make for a good laugh on any adventure with Brooke. When she’s not behind the camera, she loves catching a good sunrise hike, last minute road trips, disappearing into the next book on an ever expanding reading list, and binge watching Gilmore Girls.
When she isn’t behind the camera, you'll find her spending time in the sunshine, watching The Bachelor, adventuring with her two dogs or riding her horses.

I'm Ciara! Telling your love story through my lens is my favorite obsession. I’m all about the in between moments and emotive candid shots. I love capturing moments you can look back on in 10 years and still feel like it just happened yesterday.
I absolutely love meeting new people and being able to celebrate love. When I’m not behind the camera you can find me spending time with my beautiful family, on a hunt for anything vintage in the thrift store, or obsessing over a new coffee shop. In the last few years my relationship with Jesus has grown so beautifully, and that's how I found myself on this wonderful journey, to capture his best creation and greatest love; YOU! 🥰

Hey there! Apart from being obsessed with my camera, I'm a mom of two amazing little girls and a self empowerment queen! It's no surprise here that I love LOVE! I believe that people cross our paths for a reason. Growth, encouragement, and selflessness are a few of the characteristics that inspire me to capture it. You better believe I'll be joining you on the dance floor after one too many coffees or cracking ridiculous jokes to get that genuine smile poppin'. Instilling confidence in individuals and couples while capturing all the magic is my forte =).
Fun fact: I leaped straight up out of my medical career to chase my dreams because this is ultimately where my passion lies and what makes my heart beat the hardest! You deserve to have stunning images of memories that will last you a lifetime. My mission is to provide you with just that. And hey, if we become besties in the process, even better!
